How to use Elicit for topics that have lots of research

This workflow in Elicit.org starts broad in a domain with lots of published papers, then zooms in on the most relevant papers. This process can also help you narrow down your research direction.

It's inspired by the systematic review process so works best for questions that have been addressed with randomized controlled trials. Those tend to be in the biomedical, economic, and social science domains.

The video will show how to review main findings of papers, filter for randomized controlled trials and systematic reviews, quickly skim the population and outcomes studied, and ask your own question over the entire paper set. Lastly, it shows how to consider feedback other academics have shared on the paper.
