Bob Dylan wrote this song in 1962 around the time that Suze Rotolo indefinitely prolonged her stay in Italy. It was released on his album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan and as the B-side of the single "Blowin' in the Wind." Cover versions have been recorded by many artists. A couple of my favorites were by Waylon Jennings and The Seekers.
