Chigule Falls is a small horsetail ephemeral type of waterfall which means this waterfall flows mostly during the rainy season. This waterfall is a hidden waterfall in western ghats which is the least visited. As of now, this waterfall is temporarily closed on weekends due to some issues as it is under the reserve forest department but you can visit this place on weekdays.

Kankumbi is a village in Belgaum district, Karnataka. It is surrounded by dense forest and waterfalls, Chigule waterfall is one of them which is flowing through the reserve forest of Karnataka – Goa.

There is an old historical temple named Mauli temple where the people come to worship. Temporarily this temple is closed, it will be open for religious gathering and special permission.

Behind the temple, there is a beautiful viewpoint for the visitors, where you catch the sight of magnificent mountain ranges. Concrete benches are provided at this viewpoint to sit and enjoy a glimpse of this view.
