Cockpit Casual returns with a new video featuring a mission to repossess 2 aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 and a B767-300ER on behalf of a US Lessor from service in Russia. After sanctions were placed on Russia after its invasion of Ukraine, civil aircraft leases were cancelled and the western lessors scrambled to recover their aircraft assets from Russian airlines. Very few aircraft were actually recovered, but Nomadic was able to assist in recovering a hand full of them.

On this mission, Bob and Steve flew to Turkey to grab a Boeing 737 from Antalya and a B-767 from Istanbul after they were voluntarily surrendered. The aircraft were registered in the USA and relocated to Roswell New Mexico and Goodyear Arizona respectively.
