According to Rajasthan Police investigations, injured Junaid and Nasir were allegedly hauled for nearly 15 hours by at least two vigilante groups across Haryana on February 15 before their burned-out bodies were discovered the next morning. Junaid and Nasir vanished on February 15 from Bharatpur in Rajasthan. Their charred bodies were discovered the next day in the Haryana Bhiwani district, near Loharu. The two men's charred remains were found inside a burning car in Bhiwani, and Rinku Saini, a cab driver, was detained on Friday. He asserted during questioning by the Rajasthan Police that the two men were picked up by him and his associates on suspicion of cow smuggling and then given over to the Haryana Police.
