In this episode I am showing you the haul from my trip to Lennep.. which is a cushion, some tea, some bunny napkins and... yarn! Who would have thought ;)

There's a crochet WIP as well and I have not only finished my Musselburgh Hat (pattern by Ysolda Teague) but I have also started another one in a different colour range!

Otherwise, there's been a lot of sand in the air coming from the Sahara desert which happens once a year at least when the winds are coming that way. It makes for lovely colourful sunsets - rather like back in 1815 when Turner painted his colourful moody sunsets (the yellow skies were typical for the summer of 1815 and had a profound impact on art) caused by the eruption of the volcano Tambora... if you feel intrigued it's well worth reading this up because it was also the cause for the "Year without a summer".. resulting in widespread famine, political changes and emigration.

Alas, it's a normal occurrence to get Sahara sand, as I said. It just goes to proof that we're all connected on Earth.

Have a lovely weekend!
