How to add prefix on multiple Layers in AutoCAD?

Solution:

You can add prefix to all the layers or on some specific layers names by the help of RENAME command.

By the help of wildcard character you can add Prefix to the Layers.

You can use astrick sign for this.

In Rename command dialog box you can select all the layers or some particular layers in the "Old Name field".

In "Rename to" field you can add prefix which you wants to add followed by astrick sign.

You can add dash and underscore also as a prefix.
