The villagers in Rajawas have taken up arms against a proposed stone mine sanctioned just meters away from their village. They experienced the side-effects of a stone mine in 2016, when half the village had to vacate their homes and move to nearby towns. The groundwater depleted and residents were left with life-long illnesses. They are determined to not allow it again
