Austin mini front wheel bearings

Fitting new wheel bearings is a job most home mechanics can do themselves with some basic tools. Choosing what brand of wheel bearing to install in your classic mini is equally important. Don't be fooled by fitting cheap bearings as this is really just false economy. Obviously we all have budgets however, I'd recommend fitting branded bearings and the brand of choice I used on my mini was Timken bearings.

The hardest part of this job when making this video was actually splitting the balljoints from the hub as this is the side of the car that runs in the gutter and gets hit with more water than the drivers side. Needless to say the drivers side came off without any struggle!
