It looks decent, and then fails the dimensions, weight, magnet slide, and ping tests.

Keep in mind that American Silver Eagles have 2 known distinct pings.

The other with a shorter ping and tight vibration. (Sometimes it takes a few taps to really hear the vibrations)

Both sound beautiful.

I’ve read the US Mint has at least two different planchet (coin blank) suppliers. So far, that’s my best guess as to why the different pings.
