"Maanzi Wa Maana" is a remake of the 2002-released hit song by Kenyan contemporary gospel singer Henrie Mutuku.

I was inspired to cover the song to express and assert the values I want to uphold for myself as a woman. This is especially because from teenagehood to adulthood, I've heard many voices about what womanhood means in the spaces I occupy as a public figure, daughter, friend, mother, and partner.
