The Royals also have ample firepower in their spin wing, with Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal leading the assault.

For RCB, With Virat in top form, having scored 708 runs in 14 games, RCB will start as favourites. Overcoming a dismal first half, the Bengaluru outfit has had a Cinderella season, and the fact that it has risen to the top four will strengthen its confidence. After some early struggles, skipper Faf du Plessis has found his form and formed vital partnerships with the Indian star.

The experienced Rajat Patidar, who has five half-centuries this season, has stabilized the innings in difficult situations and, along with Dinesh Karthik, has helped the club weather numerous storms. Seamer Yash Dayal's magical final over sealed the deal for RCB and led it into the playoffs, and having previously played at the stadium with the Gujarat Titans, Dayal will be the focus once again. Last year, the Titans' rookie fast bowler was upset after conceding five straight sixes in an over off Rinku Singh in a game against KKR. Back in the old den, a revitalized and stronger Dayal will want to keep the momentum continuing.
