This talk gave a brief overview of how the OSNBs are presented online followed by an examination of methods used to record names. This includes a look at the varied layout of OSNBs, the paper forms used by the OS for this work and how people of the areas being surveyed contributed to the collection of names. This could probably be the most detailed examination of the structure of OSNBs given to date.
