Terra Conquest is a game I work on.
As many other strategy and simulation games, Terra Conquest takes place on a hexagonal tiled map.
Each cell has unique stats like fertility, ore richness or movement difficulty.
Based on those stats, the player has to decide, where to place production buildings, storages, paths, defence ...
During the game, several threads may accur like bandits trying to steel resources or smaller armies trying to eliminate you.
Terfor the player has to build defencive buildins and recruit troops and agents in order to defend the land and fight back.

As shown in the video, my game also features its own map-editor for players to create and edit their own maps they can play or share with friends.

The game is developed in the context of a university course.
The goal of this course is to develop a game without game engines or higher level libraries.
Thus the game is written in native C++ with OpenGL and other low level libraries.

This video is made for a public streaming event, where all of the students present the early stage of their projects.
