We arrived on the Kenai Peninsula 28 June 2022 and headed toward the Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge. The first night there we took a "Kenai River Scenic Float Trip" from the lodge. Our guide took us on an 11-mile float trip along the Upper Kenai River surrounded by the Kenai Mountains. We saw bald eagles and people salmon fishing along the way. We even hit a few low class rapids. The sun sets late during summer solstice so we had beautiful sunny weather all evening.
