Judging Homemade Cheddars - What Aging Method Created the Best Tasting Cheddar?

Описание к видео Judging Homemade Cheddars - What Aging Method Created the Best Tasting Cheddar?

Jokingly referred to as "the Cheddar Olympics", four identical homemade cheeses competed for the title of "best tasting cheddar." Each cheddar was treated differently after being made. Their "after-care” (properly referred to as “affinage”) was either:
- vacuum-packed
- waxed
- cloth-bandaged (the traditional technique for cheddar)
- left natural (with occasional brine washing).

Mary Anne wanted to find out how these surface treatments would affect the flavour & texture of her homemade cheddars, so she invited 8 friends to judge her 4 cheeses based on their taste, texture, appearance and aroma. After taste-testing each cheese, the judges scored each cheese from best to worst.

Which cheddar do you think was voted the overall favourite/best tasting?
