Описание к видео Inside Kings Bowl, a volcanic fissure and part of the Great Rift in Craters of the Moon NM, Idaho

Explore part of the Great Rift and at the southern end of Craters of the Moon National Monument with geology professor Shawn Willsey. The Kings Bowl fissure erupted about 2,200 years ago, culminating with an explosive eruption when groundwater mixed with magma. In this video, check out the interior of the Kings Bowl fissure and some of the awesome features preserved in its walls.
