Welcome to our Hunza vlog! The adventure begins with our friends Rayyed and Ali, who have returned from Australia to Lahore for their summer holidays. Fresh from my trip to Kashmir, I am now embarking on another journey with my friends to the mesmerising Hunza Valley in Gilgit-Baltistan. We chose Hunza for its unique culture, high literacy rate, warm hospitality, and beautiful infrastructure that complements the stunning landscape.

Hunza Valley, located in the northern part of Pakistan, is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, featuring towering peaks, lush green valleys, and crystal-clear rivers. Situated along the Karakoram Highway, Hunza offers stunning views of some of the world's highest mountains, including Rakaposhi, Ultar Sar, and Ladyfinger Peak. The valley is famous for its vibrant culture, rich traditions, and welcoming people. Attractions include Karimabad Bazar, the ancient Baltit and Altit Forts, and the picturesque landscapes that surround them. The region's unique culture and high literacy rate make it an interesting and educational destination.

Our vlog starts with all of us gathering at Rayyed's place before setting off for Hunza. Given that Hunza is almost 22 hours away from Lahore by road, we knew we were in for a long journey. We left Lahore at 11 PM, vibing to energetic Punjabi and trending English songs to keep our spirits high. Our first stop was at the Bhera service area, where we grabbed a meal and then continued on our way.
We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise near Kalar Kahar, a truly mesmerising experience. Afterward, Rayyed, Ali, and I took a short nap in the backseat. When we woke up, we had reached the highway leading to Naran Kaghan, another highlight of our trip. Here, Rayyed took over the driving while I moved to the passenger seat, and the rest of our friends took a nap. We enjoyed navigating the narrow and wide roads of Naran Kaghan with our amazing songs playlist. Passing through Naran Bazar and marveling at the Naran view, our energy levels began to dip. However, we pushed through and kept going until we reached Babusar Top.

Babusar Top is a high mountain pass connecting Naran Kaghan with Chilas, known for its stunning views and chilly temperatures. Standing at an elevation of 13,691 feet, Babusar Top offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and valleys, making it a must-visit spot on any Hunza trip. The crisp air and breathtaking scenery recharged us, allowing us to continue our journey.
After crossing Babusar Top, we faced the hot weather of Chilas, which was quite draining. Despite this, we managed to reach Hunza at 10 PM, completing almost 23 hours of travel from Lahore. Exhausted but exhilarated, we checked into a local hotel and had dinner at a nearby restaurant. The hospitality of the Hunza people and the beautiful infrastructure that complements the landscape immediately impressed us. We then went to sleep, ready to recharge and prepare for the next day's plans.

Stay tuned for more updates on our Hunza valley tour as we explore the beauty, culture, and attractions of this incredible region. The journey has just begun, and there's so much more to discover!
