Teams changed ends and Jersey kicked off attacking the Town end 3.59.15 Jersey entertained Camberley Town less than a month after visiting them when a solitary goal won a turgid match that will not otherwise live long in the memory.
After that they had two wins and a draw against teams below them before 0-3 losses against top five teams Fleet Town and Redhill. They now lie 15th with an 8-9-15 41-56 record.
Jersey were without the suspended Toby Ritzema and Kieran Lester plus the injured Harry Curtis and Francis Lekimamati as well as James Queree and Adam Trotter who were out of the Island. Jonny Le Quesne took over the armband from Queree.
James Carr, Karl Hinds, Lorne Bickley and teenager Will Yates were added to the squad that had travelled to Abbey Rangers with Jay Giles, Joe Kilshaw and Hinds starting in place of Curtis, Queree and Trotter. Fraser Barlow moved from defensive to attacking duties.
Camberley made five changes to the team that started against Redhill last week. Ben Grummitt was between the sticks for the first time since mid-December, Luke Benton, Erim Dinctop, Mikey Burton and Masimba Bare all returned after missing that match. Making way were Dominic West, Tom Wensley, Joe Noakes, Stan Kyle and Sam Whitehead with only Kyle of those appearing on the bench.
