Trademark Certificates Are Now Digital!

The USPTO has gone digital! Trademark certificates are now issued via a digitally signed certificate, and if you'd like paper, you now have to specially request a paper certificate and pay $25.00.

The new digital certificates are now a digitally authenticated PDF file that you can download at any time from the Patent and Trademark Office Website. Rather than having to find and scan in a paper certificate, which can be faked or altered, trademark registrants can now go get their certificate at any time, and can easily prove its authenticity, because it's digitally signed at the upper left by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
