The History of the Tungusic Languages

The Tungusic languages are a language family spoken by the Tungusic peoples of Siberia and Manchuria. Though once widely spoken throughout Northeast Asia, most languages in this family are now endangered, having been displaced by Chinese and Russian.

This video presents the history and evolution of the Tungusic languages from 600 BCE to the present.
