Today I show you the video of Argotec of Turin (courtesy). The video comprehensively shows what will happen before and shortly after the crash on the moon Dimorphos. The small probe that you see taking off, in the animation, is the Italian nano satellite LICIACube: think of its miniaturization, it has the size of an A4 sheet with a total thickness of about 10 cm. It has both powerful optics to record all impact data, and AI-based software capable of recognizing celestial bodies. Autonomously, it will also be able to manage orbital maneuvers.
