On 7th June, 1955, Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru being received at airport by Prime Minister, Bulganin; Nikita Khrushchev, Foreign Minister, Molotov, Mr. Malenkov and Mr. Maxim Saburov.

Indian Ambassador Mr. K. P. S. Menon also present. Besides senior officials, Indira Gandhi is also accompanying Mr. Nehru.

Two prime ministers drive in an open car to the Kremlin. The places that the Indian PM visits include the Stalin Automobile Plant where Zis and Zim cars are assembled; the permanent Agricultural Exhibition of the USSR; a secondary school in Moscow, meeting children; the Moscow University, where five Indian languages are taught.

In Stalingrad PM visits the Defence Museum besides the new hydro-electric project, a large tractor factory.

Delegation also visited Simferopol, Yalta and Tbilisi (where they visited the ultra modern steel plant at Rustavi after which India's Bhilai plant is erected).
