Mean Well offers multiple series of high-efficiency LED drivers that are designed to meet the environmental conditions experienced in outdoor LED lighting applications. Mean Well's HBG-240,
HLG-600H amd HPG 320 series all features dual mode constant voltage and constant current output that permits the supplies to be used with a separate LED driver or indirect drive. The drivers
feature a metal housing with a class 1 design and either an IP65 or an IP67 rating for use in indoor and outdoor applications exposed to dust and moisture. IP67 models support Mean Well three-in-one dimming function allowing designers to set the output constant current level with an analog voltage. Ten volts PWM or resistance applied to the dimming control pins, while the output current of ip65 models is adjustable using the built in potentiometer. The Mean Well HPG 240 is the 240 watt driver that features a unique patented circular housing that mounts to the LED module and fits the aesthetics of the of the luminaire with intended applications including LED bay, stage and spot lighting. It is available with output voltages from 24 volts to 60 volts and current ratings from 4 amps to 10 amps. It operates from a 90 BAC to 305 BAC supply, achieves conversion efficiency up to 93.5% and is designed to operate from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 75 degrees Celsius and free air convection. Mean Well's HLG 600 H series delivers output power up to 600 watts and achieves efficiencies as high as 96 percent, while using less than 0.5 watts in standby mode. The design supports case temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius and is designed for use in high bay, parking garage and greenhouse lighting. In addition the HLG 600 H meets the UL type HL requirements for use in class 1 division 2 hazardous locations. The driver has a typical lifetime of over 62,000 hours and is backed by a 7 year manufacturer's warranty. Mean Wells HVG 320 series offers a very wide input range of 180 BAC to 528 BAC. It is a 320 watt driver intended for applications similar to the HLG 680, but also offers a smart timer dimming function. This allows the driver to set the output to different levels at different times of the day, simplifying the deployment of smarter more efficient lighting systems.
