Sir Edward Elgar's THE SEVERN SUITE of 1930 introduced by Professor Stephen Arthur Allen who follows the performance by THE PRINCETON BRASS BAND with a short presentation: THE SECRETS OF THE SEVERN SUITE REVEALED.
The Princeton Brass Band under Professor Stephen Arthur Allen perform the new 90th Anniversary Critical Edition prepared by Allen/D'Andrea/Maund directly from Elgar's original manuscripts and other primary sources correcting hundreds of errors major and minor and restoring bars of music and octave placements to the originally published score.
