Boogie Woogie [Blues in G - Begintermediate)

This is one of the first lead style things I learned and it's just fun to play. The Boogie Woogie is a classic American jazz/blues/rock n roll sound that works great in a lot of bluegrass applications. It's not too difficult and has a lot of prospect for improvising and using in jam sessions especially on bluesy songs like Bill Monroe's Rocky Road Blues. It can also work for backing up a vocal sometimes.

The invitation is to learn it with all downstrokes, then add the upstrokes and then for bonus points hack it out in other keys, starting with A.
