WordPress Multisite Shared Media does just what it says: makes the uploaded media available across network. It suits perfectly for multi-language setups, and yes, it supports Woocommerce.

Hi and welcome to this Multisite Shared Media demo, I'm going to show you how easy and simple this plugin is to setup and use.

Here we have our network where we have two different sites.

And we'd like to share media between those sites - images in this case.

So what I do? I have installed the plugin already, now I go to Network Admin > Settings. There I will find Multisite Shared Media.

Here, I can enable the media sharing, so whenever I upload an image to any of the sites, this plugin will take care of replicating that image over to any other site on this network.

The other setting is related to removal of media. So if I check that on, it will remove the image from all sites whenever I remove it from any of the sites, and I prefer to have it enabled in this case.

So now I'm ready to go.

First, I have some images on my main sites already, which I would like to use on the other site. I'm going to replicate these five pictures over.

For that case there is a tool in Admin section, when I go back to settings and Multisite Shared Media. There's a button: Replicate all existing media from main site, and this button will do the trick for me.

It starts a process and while there might be thousands of pictures, it will make the process a bit slower and take some time, maybe
30-45 minutes. You can also break it on any time, put it on pause and continue the process, it will continue the process from where it left off.

I'm ready for now, so I close the popup and as I can see now, the images have appeared up here, in the second site.

Now, if I want to upload some new pictures: Add new > Select files, and I have two pictures which I would like to upload - I upload them here, and as you can see, it goes quickly and if I now go to the main site and Media Library, I can see that those two pictures have popped up here as well.

Easy, quick and lightweight.

Now, if I want to remove some pictures, eg. this bird picture here, I select to Delete it permanently and it's gone away.
Now if I go to the second site and Media Library, I will see that the bird has gone away from here too.
