The Sand River 20 Challenge involves climbing twenty grade 20 routes and ten grade 19 routes in one continuous push. It is a test of climbing endurance, fatigue management and preparation.

We were originally going to climb all the grade 20s at Sand River but some areas were closed for Peregrine Falcon nesting so we replaced them with ten 19s instead.
