On scene video of tactical box 8-2 with a dwelling fire on the unit block of West Woodland Ave in Penndel Borough, PA.

Fire companies from throughout Lower Bucks County worked for hours Thursday morning to bring a difficult dwelling fire under control. Firefighters were dispatched shortly before 5am for multiple calls reporting a house on fire in the area of Woodland and Bellevue Aves. Fire crews arrived on scene reporting a two and half dwelling with fire throughout.

Firefighters worked with defensive operations to fight the fire from the exterior due to hoarding conditions and all occupants reported to be evacuated from the residence. Several fire hydrants in the area had to be utilitized for fire crews to dump water on the fire using their area devices as well as with handlines on the ground. Both Lincoln Highway and Bellevue Ave throughofares were closed to through traffic during the peak of this incident due to supply hoses on the roadways.

Companies on the scene: Penndel, Bensalem, William Penn, Parkland, Langhorne-Middletown, Fairless Hills, Newtown, Newportville and Third District Fire Companies as well as Penndel-Middletown EMS and a canteen unit from Trevose. Fire Marshals are investigating.
