In this video we take a ride on Melbourne's newest rail line! The Mernda Rail Extension opened on the 26th August 2018 as a 8km extension of the South Morang line, with new stations at Middle Gorge, Hawkstowe and Mernda.

In this video we take a ride on the new extension to Mernda. However instead of simply recording just the newest section, we start the video at Keon Park station. This is because the extension to Mernda was preceded by the extension of the line from Epping to South Morang in 2012. So by starting the video at Keon Park we can see how the line has changed over the past six years.
