Yumi Ito - Blue Note Jazz Festival New York "What Seems To Be" (Live)

Yumi Ito is a Swiss singer, composer, producer with Japanese-Polish roots based in Basel. Ito has shared the stage with artists such as Al Jarreau, Becca Stevens and Kurt Rosenwinkel and performs regularly around the world. Her own music is an amalgam of jazz, art-pop and neo-classical. SWR2 Jazz named her one of the vocal discoveries of 2020 and Jazz thing magazine selected her album "Stardust Crystals" among the best releases of 2020. Yumi Ito puts her art to music in a trio, which besides her includes the Spanish "drum poet" Iago Fernández and Polish bassist Kuba Dworak.
