In this video I will show you how to replace the Cabin Filter on VW T5 Transporter. The VW T5 Cabin Filter is more commonly known as the VW T5 Pollen Filter.
The part number for the VW Pollen Filter is FP 2842 and it fits various models of VW and Audi.
I will take you through the entire process showing you the VW T5 Pollen Filter location, removing the VW T5 Pollen filter, show you just how dirty the old VW T5 Cabin Filter was and then put the new VW T5 pollen filter in.

It is important to change your VW Pollen Filter every few years (more regularly if you do more City driving).

Replace your VW Cabin filter for the following reasons:
It cleans the air coming into the VW Cabin, it removes pollen, diesel soot and particulates, it cuts down on harmful gases and odours, it protects against allergens, bacteria and mould fungi.

This is a fairly simple DIY job which should take about 20 minutes from start to finish.
