Montenegro: itinerary for a 7-8 day trip by car and how book a car in the Tivat

Day 1: Arrive at Tivat airport and rent a car. Visit Kotor (explore the city, climb the fortress wall for a magnificent view of the entire Boko-Kotor Bay).

Day 2: Drive around the whole Boko-Kotor Bay. From Kotor, we head to Dobrota, Perast, Kamenari (take the ferry across the bay) and return to Kotor.

Day 3: From Kotor, we drive up the serpentine to Lovcen mountain (visit the mausoleum of Njegoš), then drive to Budva via Cetinje.

Day 4: Budva - Sveti Stefan - Petrovac - Kraljichina Beach - Budva.

Day 5: We set off at 6 am, as the road is long but unbelievably beautiful.

Be sure to fill up a full tank of fuel! From Budva, we drive through Podgorica, Niksic, Plužine. The road from Plužine to Žabljak is one of the most beautiful roads in the world - number P 14. The entrance to this road starts on the right after the bridge from Plužine, over the cave.

Day 6: Explore the surroundings of Žabljak: Durmitor National Park, climb to the top of Savin Kuk on the lift, drive towards the Black Lake.

Day 7: We drive along another beautiful mountain road that goes past Biograd Lake, Podgorica, Skadar Lake. And we drive back to Kotor or Tivat.

In the evening, we visit Plavi Horizonti Beach.

Day 8: Spend the day walking around Tivat. Return the rental car.
