Republican senators just blew up their own government funding bill at midnight—and you won't believe why.

Senator Lindsey Graham single-handedly torpedoed a bipartisan deal that even Donald Trump endorsed on Truth Social. The reason? The House voted 426-0 to repeal a provision that lets Graham sue taxpayers for $500,000 because the FBI looked at his phone bill during the January 6th investigation. Graham says he wants "a hell of a lot more" than that.

Meanwhile, Trump filed a $10 BILLION lawsuit against his own IRS and Treasury Department. He told a Cabinet meeting he wants to keep housing prices HIGH because lowering them would help people who "didn't work very hard." Republican Senator Thom Tillis called DHS Secretary Kristi Noem "amateur-ish" and said she "should be out of a job" after $17 billion in FEMA disaster funds got stuck on her desk. That's a Republican attacking a Republican cabinet secretary.

The Senate reconvenes Friday morning. The shutdown deadline is midnight. The House is on vacation until Monday. And the GOP controls the White House, the House, AND the Senate.
