Should we install hydrogen ready boilers?

When we are talking about the net zero challenge in the UK it doesn't take long before we start talking about hydrogen. The silver bullet for decarbonising everything.

And at the start of this video, I want to be clear that Hydrogen is going to be essential to the net zero challenge.
BUT
and it is a big but.
We shouldn't be burning hydrogen in boilers for heat in homes.
This will be an expensive way to heat homes.
This risks being a high emissions way to heat homes.
This could mean we need to invest in many more renewables to have the capacity to make enough hydrogen for heating.
We already have a solution for heating that is much more efficient, lower carbon and cheaper to run - the heat pump.
