Every single day hundreds of millions of letters, packages and postcards are being flown, driven or floated all across the globe to ensure the information and items that we need to get from place to place get there as quickly and safely as possible. Specifically, the United States Postal Service processes a whopping 425.3 million pieces of mail each day. That’s 17.7 million each hour, 295,000 each minute and nearly 5000 every second. They are carried to their destinations using cars, planes, trains and ships to get mail where it needs to go. However, at one point they considered adding another form of transportation to get mail from point A to Point B. If you’ve read the title of this video, you probably already know what it is. Today we’re talking about when the United States Postal Service teamed up with the US Navy to try to use missiles to deliver mail.
