This is a step-by-step demonstration for anyone needing to composite Live Streaming green screen footage using NewTek's NDI SDK for Unreal Engine 4 (UE4).

The chroma-keying is accomplished in OBS and pushed through the network using the NDI protocol to UE4 where the footage can then be used in a Virtual Production workflow.

This is by no means the definitive way to accomplish real-time compositing in UE4, but for those who are learning, or have budget constraints and need a FREE solution, this method is very effective in comparison to other workflows.

NDI is a kind of magical protocol that the geniuses over at NewTek have developed. Many thanks to them for releasing this out to the world at no cost!

Finally, if you are having trouble with the NewTek NDI SDK for Unreal Quickstart guide, then you've come to the right place to regain your sanity!
