JAFCO hosted Perspectives of Trial Life and invited STS Host Joel Waldman along with Ruth Markel, Dennis Murphy and Dave Aronberg to discuss the Dan Markel story and the long journey for trial, the families involved and the community rallying behind them.

Dennis Murphy is the winner of four national Emmys for excellence in news reporting

He’s best known known for regular contributions to NBC News, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, The Today Show and NBC News at Sunrise.

He’s covered the Dan Markel murder case from the beginning. And is now a contributor to Dateline NBC, officially retiring from the network, but still working on select episodes.

Dave Aronberg is the State Attorney for Palm Beach County.

The State Attorney is also a former member of the Florida Senate. He was elected to the Senate in 2002 as its youngest member and served for eight years. He is a graduate of Harvard undergrad and Harvard Law.
