Robotic Palletizer - Bags of Sugar - BW Integrated Systems

BW Integrated Systems' Robotic Palletizers are capable of palletizing many different products. In this particular project, bags of sugar infeed to the robotic cell where the robots position the bags to form the pattern. The bags are then squared, picked up as an entire layer, and palletized. After the robot places the layer of bags onto the pallet, the squaring hoist squares the bags to the load - keeping them tight and formed. Tie sheets and empty pallets are then automatically loaded.

This system has an optional feature where it can also palletize half pallets. The half pallets are built as one load on separate pallets and once the half-pallet loads discharge from the cell, they are separated. There is no falloff in rate when producing half-pallet loads.
