When The Emperor Of Ethiopia Lived in Bath England

Описание к видео When The Emperor Of Ethiopia Lived in Bath England

Haile Selassie, born Tafari Makonnen, was the 225th Emperor of Ethiopia, and the country's last.
He ascended the throne in 1930, and from 1936 to 1940 he lived in England, mostly in Bath, after he and his family were driven into exile by the invasion of the Italians in the second Italo-Ethiopian war.
This period of Exile is the focus of this video.
