This not so stylish land yacht is referred to as a 1954 Chrysler New Yorker. It is a very lovely original car with some restoration work over the years. Beginning underneath, the vehicle appears to have been frame-off at some point. The engine has recently been gone through on the upper end, and the transmission was reportedly rebuilt at some point. The entire exterior body appears to have been repainted, and all chrome polished before being put back on the vehicle. It is likely that both bumpers at the very least were re-plated. A great looking original trunk with proper spare and jack present. The older bias ply tires have seen very few miles. The rebuilt braking system has good pedal, but pulls to the left in the front considerably. Despite a few leaks, an inoperable radio, clock and turn signals, it's a magnificent time capsule that has benefited from some previous high quality restoration work.
