Paul and Stacey met on the video shoot for his second single Come Back and Stay in 1983 and married four years later. They had three children together - Levi, Layla and Grady - but split up in 2006.Paul tried dating other women but the pair were reunited eventually and got back together three years later. The singer became stepdad to Stacey's son Jude, who she had with Israeli businessman Ilan Slazenger. He and Jude's biological father were on good terms after the pair reconciled.Paul said: "His dad is fifty per cent in, it is just like any other normal family. We're a blended family." Paul had hits in the 1980s and 1990s with Wherever I Leave My Hat and Don't Dream It's Over.In 2016, he went on Loose Women to set the record straight after rumours surfaced Stacey had an affair when the pair split. He said: "When she said she wasn't happy she said she wasn’t happy. So I knew and or we knew, and we discussed it and things went on from there."But to then constantly see it was an affair, it wasn't an affair."
