Do I need a DAT Scan or skin biopsy to diagnose Parkinson's disease?

I want to emphasize that no laboratory test or imaging study can replace the importance of a skilled and experienced clinician, even in the years 2023 and 2024. Although technology has advanced considerably in the past decade, it is still important to understand that the diagnosis of Parkinson's disease remains largely clinical. This means that any tests or studies should be carefully correlated with the patient's symptoms and medical history.
