Preliminary Lesson #1: (Basic) Introduction to Coptic

In this video, a brief history and development of the Coptic language is given. It is not necessarily dialect-specific.

Full disclosure: I know this from years of personal research about the Coptic language, not from years of studying for an Egyptology degree :)
This series is geared towards members of the Coptic Orthodox Church, although others who wish to learn are always welcome. This video, along with all the other videos that I am planning on making about Coptic, will be about the Bohairic dialect. In my personal researching, I have found an abundance of information about the Sahidic dialect, but an astonishingly low amount of material for Bohairic. This is my way of: #1 - taking my current skills and developing a better understanding of them, and #2 - using what I know to help others also expand their horizons.
