Happy 2 years of living in Mexico to our family!

I've always loved Mexico since I was little. I grew up in California and went on a few surf trips with my Dad to Punta Colonet and fell in love.

I never imagined living here until 2022, when we were knee-deep in the pandemic drama and struggling with housing. We knew we wanted to homestead, but we were feeling stressed about the prices of the properties in California and all the regulations.

So we decided to go back to my partners homeland! Cheaper prices, ZERO regulations (aka we could park the motorhome we lived in without the government telling us we couldn't), and we could be closer to family.

These have been the hardest 2 years of my life, yet the most rewarding. We have built thriving gardens, a fruit tree orchard, a shed, an outhouse...our kids are much more fluent in Spanish now and have even gotten scholarships at their school for excellent grades!

We are seeing the fruits of our labor on the homestead and are just about ready to start with the construction of our house! We couldn't do this without the support of our family and friends 💖 thank you all for being here to see our journey unfold!
