In this video I show you how to make seasonal Christmas Jam! This cranberry orange jam has a hint of sweetness from the strawberries and the addition of warm spices like cinnamon, allspice, and ground cloves are subtle flavors that truly make this jam taste like Christmas in a jar. It’s delicious as is and can be enjoyed throughout the year, but I especially love to use this for glazing ham during the holidays. This beautiful, red jam is one you will find yourself making year after year! Merry Christmas, my friends!

Christmas Jam Recipe:
12oz Cranberries (fresh or thawed from frozen)
1 orange peeled and sectioned
1 tsp orange zest (about 1 Medium orange)
16oz fresh strawberries or thawed from frozen
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp allspice
4 cups sugar, pure cane is best
1 package of powdered fruit pectin
½ cup water
 
Place cranberries, orange zest and oranges into a blender or food processor just to coarsely chop them.
Add in strawberries and spices.
Blend until everything is finely chopped but do not puree it.
Stir fruit mixture and water together in 5qt stock pot or dutch oven.
Stir in fruit pectin.
Bring mixture to a rolling boil over high heat, stir constantly.
Once the jam has reached a boil that can’t be stirred down, add sugar to the mixture and stir well.
Return to full rolling boil.
Boil exactly 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Using a metal spoon, skim off any foam.
Immediately ladle hot jam into prepared jars leaving ¼” headspace. 
Debubble jars, wipe rims clean, and then apply lids and rings.
Process for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, let the canner rest for 5 minutes before removing the jars.
