In this video I am sharing a different, fun, and delicious take on lasagna! This recipe is perfect for busy nights and great for the cooler weather. This recipe will make enough to feed a large family or you will have enough for leftovers if you are cooking for a smaller family. We always have leftovers the next day for lunch with this one! It is also extremely budget friendly and affordable.

RECIPE FROM THIS VIDEO:

1. Place 1lb ground beef, half of an onion (diced), and 3-4 cloves of garlic in a skillet. Cook until meat is cooked through completely. Drain grease and add to crock pot.
2. Add 28oz can crushed tomatoes, 6oz tomato paste, and 32oz chicken broth to crock pot.
3. Time to season it up! Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon basil, a pinch of red pepper flakes, and salt & pepper to taste. Stir to combine well. Place lid on crock pot and cook for 3-4 hours on low.
4. Boil lasagna noodles after sauce has cooked for 3-4 hours. Add in fully cooked lasagna noodles, 1 cup mozzarella, and 1 cup parmesan cheese to crock pot and let thicken on low for an additional 30 minutes.
5. Once the soup has thickened it is ready to serve! We love to add ricotta cheese, parmesan, and more basil to our bowls as toppings!
