The Hall of Heroes, on the first floor of the Memorial Student Center is a display that honors 43 UW-Stout students and two faculty members who gave their lives in military service to their country. At 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 20022 a Veterans Day ceremony will be held in Huff's Lounge of the Memorial Student Center to induct a recently discovered hero. Cpl. Charles V. Cummings, an 1895 graduate of Stout Manual Training School, died in 1898 during the Spanish-American War.
Those that cannot attend the ceremony in-person are invited to watch the livestream or archived video to honor and learn more about the life and service of Cummings.
