"We are a women's organisation which supports social inclusion and we work together with Andean, Amazonian, and Afro-Peruvian women, and on this occasion we want to showcase the Afro-descendant people through handicrafts such as nativity scenes, black dolls, soccer players and everything we do in our daily lives."

STORYLINE:
An art and crafts fair in Peru seeks to showcase traditional Peruvian handicrafts made by indigenous artisans.
The Ruraq Maki fair, which means Handmade in Quechua, brings the work of renowned artisans to the public.
The fair, now in its the 9th year, is sponsored by Peru's Ministry of Culture.
Over 100 artisans including carvers, weavers, potters and other artisans showcase their work at the fair.
The exhibit seeks to promote Peruvian art and popular culture in the country.
