India is facing a silent epidemic – Student Suicides.
Every day, 35–40 students end their lives due to exam stress, pressure from parents, coaching culture, and lack of institutional support.

In July 2025, the Supreme Court of India delivered a landmark judgment in the case Sukdeb Saha vs State of Andhra Pradesh. The Court declared that: Mental Health is a Fundamental Right under Article 21 – Right to Life.

For the first time, coaching centres, schools, and universities are under a legal obligation to protect students’ mental health. The Court also introduced “Saha Guidelines”, making support systems mandatory in all educational institutions.
